Father/Son Campout

Last night was our ward's Father/Son Campout. This was Diego's second year going and Christians first. They were both so excited and have been talking about it all week. They were really disappointed that it was only for one night. The weather wasn't the greatest--rain, rain, and more rain. It made for a muddy campsite but didn't stop the boys from having a great time. They saw a big beaver in the river which was very exciting. Eating marshmellows around the campfire was fun as well. Even though it rained most of the night they stayed dry and can't wait for next year to come.
Home for a night! Ready for Bed They had to find a way to entertain themselves at night! Going for a morning hike! Notice all the puddles and mud, a boys dream! To keep the kids busy someone brought a paintball gun and cups and each of the boys took turns trying to knock down cups. Here are Diego (l) and Christian (r) giving it a go. Two happy campers!

Jodi,
How have you been! What great looking boys. After looking at all the blogs that Julie has emailed me, I'm hoping I can figure all of this out soon. How great is the internet. Beautiful family my friend.
